Automated Shearing
High-powered shearing machines cut steel with precision, according to the desired dimensions for each respective leaf spring.
Custom Leaf Shaping
- Eye Rolling: Specially made equipment makes the iconic eyes found in the main leaves used when attaching them to a vehicle’s body frame securely.
- Taper Rolling: For parabolic springs, rollers are used to form the distinctive curved shape that provides a smoother ride and an improved weight capacity.
- Multi-Leaf Assembly: Our technology facilitates assembling multi-leaf springs with maximum load distribution and strength.
Heat Treatment for Strength and Durability
- End Heating Furnace: Focused heating is done on the ends of leaves before they are shaped.
- Walking Beam Furnace: To achieve increased strength, springs are heated up to 1000°C under controlled conditions then quenched.
Cambering and Tempering
- Hot cambering is done by a cambering machine that shapes the leaves to predetermined curvatures making them perform best under loads.
- Tempering furnace: Precisely controlled tempering relieves stress from the hardening process, promoting long-lasting performance.
- Hardness testing: Every spring is subjected to thorough tests of meeting hardness requirement.
Shot Peening for Enhanced Fatigue Life
For an extended fatigue life, springs are shot peened with small metal pellets that create a compressive layer reducing the risk of fatigue related failure and extending spring lifespan.
